Wage & Hour Rights and Responsibilities
Wage Payment: Employee rights include:- Pay for all earnings made (INFO # 3) at the rate consented to by the employer and worker.
- Pay of at least minimum wage (INFO # 1), the suitable Colorado or local minimum wage, and all earned overtime earnings without impermissible deductions from their incomes;.
- Pay of all made wages without impermissible reductions (INFO # 16).
Labor Statutes, Rules, & Published Guidance
Statutes & Rules: DLSS enforces much of Colorado's wage and hour and other kinds of labor statutes and labor rules, consisting of the Colorado Wage Act, employment the Colorado Overtime and Minimum Pay Standards (" COMPS Order"), and the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. Published Guidance: The Division's primary kinds of public assistance are:- INFOs (Interpretive Notices and Formal Opinions) - the Division's formally authorized notices, viewpoints, and explanations on various labor law subjects; and.

Written Demands, Complaints, & Investigations
Demands & Complaints for Wages: employment If an employer owes you earnings, you can send your company a composed demand for payment of wages by mail, e-mail, text message, or other electronic means. A written demand might be sent out to the company at the exact same time a Labor Standards Complaint Form for unpaid wages is filed with the Division.
